Effective Date: May 31, 2026. Please read this binding legal agreement carefully before initiating academic activities on our peer-tutoring network.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing, browsing, registering, or otherwise utilizing the Eruscent peer-education network (the "Platform"), you declare that you are an active, fully authorized student at an affiliated university holding a valid institutional email domain. If you do not agree to these terms, you are strictly prohibited from accessing our systems.

Right to Modify and Amend Terms

Eruscent reserves the absolute right, at its sole and executive discretion, to change, modify, add, replace, or remove portions of these Terms of Service at any given time. Any updates will be posted directly to this page with a revised Effective Date. It is your responsibility to inspect these terms periodically. Your continued interaction with the platform following modifications serves as binding and permanent consent to all updated regulations.

2. Strict Academic Integrity Standard

Eruscent is built solely to facilitate collaborative learning and conceptual guidance. We maintain a **zero-tolerance protocol** for any form of academic dishonesty:

No Direct Task Completion: Tutors are strictly forbidden from doing students' homework, writing papers, completing graded assignments, or taking exams on behalf of any student.
System Ban: Any tutor or student caught violating their university's official Student Code of Conduct through the Platform will face an immediate, permanent ban, and the incident will be reported to the respective academic board.

3. Marketplace & Platform Disclaimer

Eruscent acts solely as an administrative marketplace software orchestrator matching peers for collaborative learning. We do not employ tutors, we do not verify their absolute pedagogical expertise, and we make no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding the grades, academic outcomes, or performance of students who utilize this platform.

4. Booking, Cancellations, & Refunds

All academic bookings are regulated under strict temporal guidelines to preserve administrative efficiency:

Cancellation Window: Students must initiate booking cancellations at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session timestamp to secure a full refund matrix.
Tutor Abort: Tutors reserve the authority to cancel upcoming group classes due to low operational capacity. In such situations, the system automatically clears the student's calendar and returns their token assets instantly.

Walled Garden Domain Spoofing Warning

Any attempt to bypass university domain verification filters using spoofed, fabricated, temporary, or non-institutional email setups to access campus-restricted walled gardens constitutes a severe security violation. We reserve the right to immediately terminate the accounts of any individuals engaged in domain manipulation, without notice.
